Today in class…

We talked about blogging and why people blog/write and Woody Harrelson’s poem.

I learned that the four main reasons why people blog/write are:

I daydreamed about what makes me most happy about my life. I think I am happy with my life because I fanially feel like I am in the right place at the right time in my life. I also feel like I am learning a lot of life lessons from Mr. R.

I wanted to say (after reading Woody Harrelson poem) that if we went back pre-industrial revolution and everything was like it was before Europe and Spain and Britain began to settle in America. In the past, going back hundreds of years people have done what they felt was right and now it seems that what we thought was right isn’t, so how can we be so naive to think that if we go back pre-industrial revolution everything will automatically be ok. I think that most people are taught you cannot and will not solve your problems by running from them so why should we go back. Just like Mr. R said in his WWW poem, “it takes guts to live in the present.” So what should we do now?

  1.    Mr.R Says:

You make some great points and I am not just saying that because you are quoting me. I am glad that you feel you are learning life lessons from our class, because that is the point.

A few quick technical points: See if you can use a few more links to lead your readers to what you are talking about. For Example: in this post you could have linked directly to the Poem by Woody and the poem from my blog. That way your readers can read th work on their own, then come back and read your thoughts on it.

You said, “So what should we do now?” That is the million dollar question.

  2.    Mr. R Says:

I would love to hear about, “I am learning a lot of life lessons…”

I also think that you raise a great question, what do we do now. Let’s see if we can get some traffic on your blog and hear what people have to say.

The best way to get readers to to read other people’s posts and leave comments.
