Language Arts 3/2/08
Today in class we talked about how there is a force or power over everything. To give us a better understanding of this Mr. R told us to draw a triangle and try to fit in what you have a power over and what has a power over you. And it was this sort of circular effect like the eco system.
I learned that everything in this world can be simplified, just like you do in math. What I mean by that is you can take a certain topic and break it down to its simplest form. I realized that I am doing that in most of my classes: U.S. History, L.A., Spanish, Algebra.
I day dreamed about nothing really. Which is rather surprising because Mr. R talks a lot. I was content with listening today.
I wanted to say/comment on the quote on the board today, “Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.” I think what it should say is power has the potential to corrupt but power also has the implicit possibility to uplift.
Today in class we talked about better ways or just normal ways to comment on a blog, which I find completely helpful because otherwise i would have no clue how to comment. I still feel pretty new to blogging which i guess it is normal. I hope that blogging will soon appeal to my better nature.
I learned that, well i didn’t really learn anything worth telling about. Today we mostly just elaborated on topics that we have only recently touched on the past classes.

I wanted to say “Hi, Mr. R, ummmm Paola is spelled with an “o” [while he was writing her name on the board]” but of coarse not for bad behavior. Paola is dangerous :] but she is not stupid enough to get caught for doing something stupid…if that makes any sense.
